The Providence Relay for Life team is selling suckers for Easter as one of our fundraisers for this year’s efforts.  The suckers are available in six different flavors (apple, cherry, grape, bubble-gum, cotton-candy and cinnamon) and a variety of Easter shapes (crosses, doves, roses, bunnies, etc.).  The suckers are $1 each and will be available for purchase through Easter.  The Relay for Life team will be making suckers on Friday, March 5 at 12 noon and Saturday, March 13 at 9:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.  Anyone who would like to help with this effort is invited to be a part.  If you would like to purchase suckers, please see any member of the Relay for Life team or speak with Brandy Joyner or Stephanie Bagley.  The Relay for Life team will also host a luncheon immediately following Worship on Sunday, April 25 in the Fellowship Hall.  Everyone is invited to come for lunch, and you do not have to bring anything!  Donations for Relay for Life will be accepted during the luncheon.

The members of  Providence Church are sponsoring Team #59 for the Relay for Life campaign through the Johnston County Relay for Life.  All of the proceeds that are collected go to the American Cancer Society.  If you have any questions or would like to be on the team, please contact Brandy Joyner. Wouldn't you like to be a part of this campaign to help raise money for cancer research and assist those who are suffering from cancer plus work with a fantastic team?

Relay For Life® is the American Cancer Society's signature event that brings more than 3.5 million people from 4,900 communities across the country together each year to celebrate the lives of those who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against a disease that takes too much.

Relay For Life® is a fun-filled, overnight event that empowers everyone to help fight cancer by raising money and awareness to support the American Cancer Society’s lifesaving mission. Teams of people camp out at local high schools, parks, or fairgrounds and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event. Relay For Life® symbolizes the hope that people lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face the disease have support, and that one day cancer will be eliminated.
